This may not show this New York Times best seller's list that well, but if you look at the paperback books section at number 10, you will see The Candymakers by Wendy Mass. It is a HUGE achievement to get on this list, considering the limited amount of authors that it mentions. Out of all of the books sold in New York, her book was chosen to be number 10. As she wrote on her blog, "Picture me jumping up and down and screaming when my editor called to tell me. I’m still jumping (just on the inside now.)" This was how excited she was (and still is) about her book being recognized on this exclusive list!
